No cookies for tracking

This site does not use advertising or tracking cookies, so there is no cookie banner. We count visits ourselves, on our own server, so we know which pages are useful and whether the site is working.

• We record the page you visited, roughly where in the world the visit came from (country), the kind of device and browser, and the page that sent you here.
• Your IP address is used only to tell one visit from another and to filter out automated traffic. It is not used to identify you, not combined with other data, and never sold or shared for advertising.
• We also count clicks on our own buttons, such as Book, Join and Enquire, so we know what people use. Sometimes two versions of a page are shown to different visitors to see which works better; this uses the same visit counting and no cookies.

Share links

Links we share on Instagram, WhatsApp, email or printed QR codes may be short links on this site. When you open one, we count the click and which link it was, then take you straight to the page. Nothing else is stored about you.

Booking

Booking a chair is handled by Squire, which opens over this page. What you enter when booking goes to Squire and to the salon, under Squire's privacy policy. Squire may show its own cookie choices inside the booking panel.

Education, membership and payments

Online membership, member accounts and payments are run on our education site, with card payments processed by Stripe. Stripe handles your card details; we never see your full card number. See Stripe's privacy policy.

Videos

Some tutorials are played from YouTube. YouTube may set its own cookies when you press play, under Google's privacy policy.

Emails you send us

If you email us, we keep your message and address only to reply to you and to run your booking or course.

Your rights

You can ask to see, correct or delete anything we hold about you, or object to how we use it, by emailing cardinalestudios@gmail.com. If you are unhappy with our answer you can contact the Information Commissioner's Office at ico.org.uk.
